A big thank you to all you Brass Herald readers for your comments on my first article for this magazine. The next article will appear in the June/July issue so be sure to check it out!
A big hello to all the members of the Ackworth Youth Choir who we so enjoyed working with in our joint concert on Saturday 22nd May - myself and the rest of BackBeat hope to work with you again soon.
I am enjoying settling in to my new house although it is still a bit of a mess with plasterers and carpet fitters all over the place! But I am sure it will be worth it!
I am looking forward to the next few weeks as BackBeat has several exciting educational projects which are always really good fun. On the performance side of things I am delighted to be appearing at the Beaumaris Festival on Wednesday 2nd June as a guest of the Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir.
And on the 26th June BackBeat will be performing the fantastic African Sanctus by David Fanshawe at Wakefield Cathedral - it promises to be quite an occasion and I hope to see you there!
