As both a soloist and member of BackBeat, educational work has been extremely important to Simone since her career began. She has devised and presented concerts and workshops to literally hundreds of children of all ages over the last 12 years and remains interested and involved with bringing percussion music to as many young people as possible. Together with BackBeat Simone is involved in numerous projects and one off events throughout the year.
