I am spending most of this month working on various education projects which are always great fun to do and it is great to meet so many exciting young percussionists.
I also have some interesting concerts coming up - BackBeat can't wait to work with David Lawrence and the superb CBYV in a special concert for children on Sunday 5th June at Symphony Hall (3pm). It promises to be a great concert with the CBSO in full force!
The new Northern Brass Festival begins in Elgin (Scotland) from the 10th - 12th June and I will be presenting a workshop and appearing as guest soloist with the CWS Glasgow band so I hope to see you there.
For all those that I am meeting this month do keep in touch and keep an eye on my calendar page to see what concerts are coming up next.
In the meantime I hope the super weather holds - although it is very tempting to lounge about in the garden rather than do my practise!!!!
